Non ci stupisce Finn, quando dice che il 14 Febbraio lo ha passato insieme alla sua mano..compagni di giochi il letto e una bottiglia di Jack Daniel’s…che non lo ubriaca abbastanza però da fargli scordare la sua “amata fanciulla”. Lo chiamo per nome ormai, Finn, il cantante dei Love Ghost più volte recensito qui su system failure…
Se anche voi volete farvi un giro nella sua testa, ma anche nei colori musicali e culturali, miscelati e contaminati di questa band, vi consiglio di vedere le precedenti recensioni.
Ci propongono stavolta un video ambientato in una scampagnata…apparentemente scanzonato a tratti divertente….se non fosse per il cupo basso distorto che suona una ritmica e armonia che ricorda un punk californiano da ‘party’ … l’armonia è aperta e solare così come il cantato, la solita e solida salmodia di Finn ma è proprio il basso a cambiare tutta l’atmosfera…
Dopotutto è una canzone triste….di amore non corrisposto….che lo è stato per un po’..
Si vede l’intera band dei Wiplash a rotolarsi sull’erba…insieme a Finn..Il cantante dei Wiplash, altro giovane bello e talentuoso rapper il cui intervento vede delle belle trovate di post-produzione come glitch e altri effetti da parte del produttore abituale Mike Summers. È un buon brano per chi non ha sentito mai i Love Ghost….

This time they offer us a video set in a picnic… apparently light-hearted and at times funny…. if it weren’t for the dark distorted bass that plays a rhythm and harmony that recalls a Californian ‘party’ punk… the harmony is open and sunny as well as the singing, Finn’s usual and solid psalmody but it is precisely the bass that changes the whole atmosphere…
After all it is a sad song….of unrequited love….which has been for a while..
You can see the entire Wiplash band rolling on the grass… together with Finn.. The singer of Wiplash, another handsome and talented young rapper whose intervention features some nice post-production ideas such as glitches and other effects on the part from producer Mike Summers.
