Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Zakk Wylde, Nuno Bettencourt & Tosin Abasi insieme per un nuovo live album in uscita il 28 giugno su earMUSIC
Generation Axe è la superband americana per eccellenza formata da Steve Vai, chitarrista prodigio, vincitore di ben tre Grammy ed ex collaboratore di Frank Zappa, Whitesnake e David Lee Roth.
Per questo incredibile progetto, Steve Vai ha riunito chitarristi tra i migliori di tutto il mondo, come i leggendari Yngwie Malmsteen, Zakk Wilde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne), Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme) e Tosin Abasi (Animals As Leaders).
Il progetto Generation Axe va oltre la semplice unione di cinque chitarristi che si trovano su un palco a jammare. Secondo Steve Vai, “L’idea era quella di creare uno show senza interruzioni con una band di supporto e cinque chitarristi fenomenali che suonano brani propri e si uniscono in qualità di co-creatori in uno spettacolo perfettamente orchestrato ed elaborato.”
Le esibizioni presenti in Generation Axe: The Guitars that Destroyed the World (Live in China) sono state selezionate da varie performance del loro ultimo tour in Asia nel 2017.

After joining forces in 2016, Generation Axe toured North America in April and May 2016, and Asia in April 2017. Following the vast support, in November and December of 2018 they performed an additional 32 city tour of North American tour.
Generation Axe: The Guitars That Destroyed The World (Live In China) will be released as a CD Digipak, Limited coloured 2LP+Download and Digital on June 28th, 2019 on earMUSIC.
