Conoscete Finn se siete assidui lettori di system failure: ormai é quasi un fratello minore (e dico minore per me che ho una certa età). Abbiamo recensito tanta della sua musica con i Love Ghost..e la produzione é affidata a nomi di un certo livello borderline o in contatto stretto con grosse etichette… questa volta Shantra, dal Messico….
Collaborazioni in lingua spagnola, per lo più da artisti messicani…e qualche nome importante dell’underground latino-americano danno colore e varietà alla loro musica e anche questo brano non é da meno…
Questa volta abbiamo un bel rap su metrica terzinata molto moderna di Yung Dupe. La base e il master non spaccano per decibel. L’atmosfera é cupa, nell’arrangiamento il reese bass prende il posto del bicordo di chitarra elettrica con gusto ed efficacia. Andamento trap/hip hop senza cassa 808, sobria.
Finn spesso da voce ai suoi demoni/mondi interiori. Questa volta si propone di entrare nella testa della sua “amata” e risolverle i conflitti, i traumi, ciò che la rendono triste, magari andando indietro nel tempo e da qui “Time Travel”, il titolo del singolo. Non vuole perdere questa seconda chance con lei…

I Love Ghost sono stati recentemente in tournée in Europa, dove hanno suonato al Rockpalast festival trasmesso in tutta la Germania dalla televisione tedesca. A Città del Messico hanno suonato all’Auditorio BB, all’Indie Foro Rocks e all’Amazon Gamergy Festival, trasmesso in tutta l’America Latina.
Hanno realizzato canzoni con artisti di tutto il mondo tra cui Rico Nasty, Adan Cruz, Teeam Revolver, Geassassin, Mabiland e Tankurt Manas. Finnegan Bell dei Love Ghost è attualmente in Messico e sta collaborando con molti artisti tra cui Wiplash, Dan Garcia, Ritorukai, Go Golden Junk, ND Kobi, FLVCKKA, Phyzh Eye, Josue, Young Dupe, Blnko, Helian Evans e molti altri. I produttori con cui stanno lavorando in Messico includono Shantra (l’ultimo album dei Santa Fe Klan), BrunOG (nominato ai Latin Grammy) e SAGA. Prossimamente per Love Ghost un intero album con il chitarrista e produttore di Marilyn Manson che porta il nome Tim Skold, album commissionato da Metropolis Records.
