Su un pianoforte soffice come velluto si adagia la voce stupenda di Gabby Patrice, cantautrice giovane e tanto talentuosa. Gabby Patrice dimostra le sue qualità vocali in questa canzone: tanto espressiva e molto brava nel cambiare i registri vocali.
Siamo oltremodo stupiti di fronte a questa cantante: la sua è una storia vera cantata col cuore, con l’anima e anche l’ascoltatore più distratto rimane colpito all’ascolto di “White.”

I wrote “White” about a relationship I was in for five years. He was very good to me. My parents and entire family loved him. He would have made a great father and husband. I began having thoughts about a wedding and with that came nightmares. In those nightmares I was walking down an isle to marry him. That is exactly what White is about. I wrote it with a good friend Blessing Offor. I started to play it live and received a reaction I never could have imagined. I thought I was alone in this type of situation but it turns out a lot of people went through it. I did not end up marrying him, but I have received message after message about people that did and how the song hit. I am proud of this song because it is vulnerable. It is my true story and my listeners now know me on a very personal level.
