Abbiamo ancora parole spagnole come titoli, colore colore colore e contaminazione, ciò che ha reso da sempre bella questa band e che ti fanno stare in attesa su quello che faranno dopo…
Da un po’ di tempo vediamo molto di più Finnegan piuttosto che gli altri membri…la sua anima inquieta lo porta in Messico dove si é stabilito da qualche mese e dove sta progettando e registrando nuove collaborazioni con artisti locali – e già con “Vengasma del Fantasma” la commistione Finnegan-Messico é sembrata funzionare molto bene.
Tra teste di morto, jalapenos e litri di Corona in pentola bollono Dan Garcia, Ritorukai, Go Golden Junk, FLVCKKA, Phyzh Eye, Josue, Young Dupe, Shantra, BrunOG (candidato ai Latin Grammy) e SAGA…e non sono neanche tutti. Li conoscete? Li conoscevate?….li conoscerete…
Questo mese é il turno di Blnko, nel video appare come un corrispettivo di Finn, dai capelli rosa, faccia d’angelo ma uno scream da vero chupacabras inferocito. I due si alternano tra melodie pop-emo, chitarre ruggenti ed elettronica non invasiva. La produzione impeccabile come sempre questa volta ci regala anche un master più spazioso e avvolgente: veniamo abbracciati dal sound…. L’escamotage dell’arrangiamento all’inizio é molto azzeccato: riff punk acido a nota dritta ripetuta, sembra l’intro di una qualsiasi band punkettara californiana ma la batteria che entra poco dopo é dimezzata nella velocità ed ha un ritmo più lento (ma violento) con suoni elettronici integrati. L’atmosfera ci porta da tutt’altra parte e indovinate dove? In un’altra emo-raggia(h-emo-rrhage) dell’anima di Finn…

This month it’s Blnko’s turn, in the video he appears as a correspondent of Finn, with pink hair, the face of an angel but a scream like a real angry chupacabras. The two alternate between pop-emo melodies, roaring guitars and non-invasive electronics. The impeccable production as always this time also gives us a more spacious and enveloping master: we are embraced by the sound…. The trick of the arrangement at the beginning is very spot on: acid punk riff with repeated straight note, it looks like the intro of any Californian punk band but the drums that enter shortly after are halved in speed and have a slower rhythm (but violent) with built-in electronic sounds.
