Damo Cox – è uscito il nuovo singolo “Took a Bite”
Con una passione impenitente per il pool di musica house e tech house il DJ produttore e curatore dell’etichetta discografica australiana Damo Cox ha creato in se stesso un vero esperto del suono.
Come residente sulle soleggiate coste di Gold Coast, nel Queensland(Australia), Damo ha consegnato la sua musica direttamente dallo studio ai festival e ai club tra cui Elsewhere Surfers Paradise, mentre offre ai devoti elettronici un assaggio della musica house all’avanguardia su Sorta Kinda Music, l’etichetta possiede con la collega del settore musicale Sarah Wilkinson.
L’anno scorso ha visto l’aggiunta di due singoli da festa di Damo Cox entrambi pubblicati su Sorta kinda Music. “Trends and Friends” ha conquistato il numero 86 della classifica ARIA Club, mentre “Summer Sun” ha raggiunto il numero 31 del Digital DJ Pool. Il 2020 ha dato il benvenuto a “My Mind” con Sarah Wilkinson, salendo direttamente al numero 77 della ARIA Club Chart e ottenendo già un numero impressionante di stream su Spotify.
Provocando vibrazioni minacciose e pronte per i festival dallo studio, l’uscita originale di Damo Cox ha portato a luoghi impressionanti nell’iconico festival australiano Splendor In The Grass nel 2019, insieme a Wongo e Dena Amy, mentre la sua residenza al Rattlesnake Coolangatta lo ha visto supportare artisti del calibro di Wongo e Spenda C. “Took a bite” è un pezzo house tanto coinvolgente per il groove electro che possiede. Il basso ci trasporta in un viaggio interminabile mentre il cantato femminile ci ammalia e ci entusiasma.
Belli gli stacchi per un songwriting di alto livello insieme a produzione, mixing e mastering.
“Took a bite” è una goduria da ascoltare per gli amanti e discepoli della musica house. Questo artista è da tenere d’occhio sicuramente e pensiamo che dall’Australia il suo talento farà il giro del mondo…
