Registrato in una singola take live e completato successivamente con voci e sound design originale, il brano unisce un lead ispirato al richiamo di un antico corno da guerra a percussioni tribali interamente sintetiche ma eseguite manualmente. Il risultato è una progressione melodica intensa che accompagna l’ascoltatore verso un’unica certezza: quando tutto cambia, ciò che rimane è la nostra umanità.

The Rise of the Rebels nasce dall’immagine della brace: un fuoco nascosto sotto la cenere che continua lentamente a consumare anche le strutture più solide. Come l’acqua che scava la pietra, il cambiamento autentico è paziente, costante e inevitabile.

Attraverso una produzione cinematico-elettronica, il brano riflette sul valore dell’identità umana in un’epoca in cui conformismo e automatizzazione rischiano di appiattire creatività e libertà di pensiero. “The Rise of the Rebels”, in due versioni, ossia Radio edit ed extended, è il nuovo singolo del progetto electro che porta il nome Frankie&RikiAbi.

Dei synth viaggianti aprono il pezzo con spoken di accompagnamento. È una sorta di intro nidificato. Poi arriva il beat techno e la canzone entra nel vivo e si scatena. Come non pensare a dei pezzi di Miss Monique. Il groove è pazzesco, davvero coinvolgente.

Mix puntato leggermente in favore delle voci. Master nitido, cristallino e gagliardo. Che grande lavoro di sound design è stato fatto!?

Nella versione extended si parte subito col kick dritto. Un pochetto più cupo.

Entrambe le versioni essenzialmente sono psytrance ma tendente alla techno minimal. Pezzo dai suoni taglienti a tratti, quasi industrial. Molto apprezzabile il beat della seconda versione. Inoltre, entrambe le versioni sono molto live oriented.

“The Rise of the Rebels,” in two versions—the Radio edit and the extended version—is the new single from the electro project Frankie&RikiAbi.

Traveling synths open the track with accompanying spoken word. It’s a sort of nested intro. Then the techno beat arrives, and the song really gets going and unleashes itself. How can you not think of Miss Monique’s tracks? The groove is incredible, truly engaging.

The mix is ​​slightly biased toward the vocals. The master is crisp, crystalline, and powerful. What a great sound design!

The extended version kicks off right away with a straight kick. A little darker.

Both versions are essentially psytrance, but with a touch of minimal techno. The track has sharp, almost industrial sounds at times. The beat of the second version is very impressive. Furthermore, both versions are very live-oriented.
