STEVE HACKETT – in uscita a fine ottobre il live album “Genesis Revisited Band & Orchestra: Live”
Nuovo live album per STEVE HACKETT! L’ex-Genesis pubblicherà su Inside Out Music il 25 ottobre 2019 “Genesis Revisited Band & Orchestra: Live”. L’album sarà disponibile nei formati 2CD + Blu-Ray digipak e 2CD + DVD Multibox.
L’album è stato registrato il 5 ottobre 2018 presso la Royal Festival Hall di Londra durante il Genesis Revisited Tour nel quale il virtuoso chitarrista ha coronato uno dei suoi sogni: eseguire la musica dei Genesis assieme a un’orchestra.
La band che ha accompagnato Steve Hackett è formata da Roger King (tastiere), Gary O’Toole (batteria e percussioni), Rob Townsend (sax e fiati), Nad Sylvan (voce) e Jonas Reingold (basso) assieme agli ospiti John Hackett e Amanda Lehmann e la Heart Of England Orchestra diretta da Bradley Thachuk.
Disponibile il primo video estratto dal live album, “Dancing With The Moonlit Knight”, originariamente pubblicato sul capolavoro del progressive rock “Selling England By The Pound” dei Genesis.
