SABATON – il video di "The Attack Of The Dead Men"

I SABATON proseguono il loro assalto globale a supporto del loro ultimo album in studio “The Great War” con un nuovo video della canzone ‘The Attack Of The Dead Men’.

“Il video vede i Sabaton indossare maschere antigas durante l’esecuzione di ‘The Attack Of The Dead Men’ all’interno del nostro ultimo tour europeo. Non potevamo immaginare che oggi un’enorme quantità della popolazione mondiale indossasse quotidianamente le mascherine a causa di questo fottuto virus che ha paralizzato la nostra amata comunità metal. Ci manca fare questo, ci mancate voi… nessun livestream potrà mai sostituire la sensazione di essere tra il pubblico per un concerto metal”, commenta Pär Sundström.

La canzone racconta la storia della fortezza di Osowiec e di una battaglia durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale in cui le forze della Germania imperiale usarono il gas cloro contro i difensori russi che non avevano alcuna protezione contro il gas e dovettero avvolgere i vestiti bagnati intorno al viso, in preda alla disperazione. Non ci si aspettava che sopravvivessero e per questo il loro contrattacco è stato così sorprendente e riuscito. Avvolti in un panno insanguinato e tossendo sangue, caricarono e nacque la leggenda dell’attacco degli uomini morti.

L’ultimo album dei SABATON “The Great War” è stato pubblicato nel 2019 ed è entrato al n. 1 in svariati Paesi tra cui Germania, Svizzera e Svezia. Il disco è stato acclamato da critica e fan contiene numerosi singoli colossali come ‘Great War’, ’82nd All The Way’, ’The Red Baron’ e ‘Fields of Verdun’.
