RIOT V – annunciano il vinile ‘Live At Keep It True Festival 2015’ in edizione limitata
I pionieri newyorchesi dell’heavy metal RIOT V hanno annunciato il vinile di “Live At Keep It True Festival 2015”, precedentemente disponibile solo bonus CD dell’ultimo album in studio “Armor Of Light”.

La band, nata quarant’anni fa a Brooklyn, New York e iniziata l’anno scorso nella prestigiosa Heavy Metal History Hall Of Fame, ha pubblicato ben sedici album in studio e vanta una storia come pochi altri. Dal leggendario debutto “Rock City” (1977), i RIOT hanno dato alle stampe molti classici dell’heavy metal, come “Fire Down Under” (con ‘Swords And Tequila’), il capolavoro “Thundersteel” (1988) e l’indimenticabile “The Privilege Of Power” (1990).
Dopo la morte di Mark Reale e l’abbandono di Tony Moore, Todd Michael Hall (dal Michigan, USA), ha completato la line-up della band, che si presenta ora col nome RIOT V e vede tra le proprie fila i compositori e membri di lunga data Donnie van Stavern (basso) e Mike Flyntz (chitarra). Con “Unleash The Fire” (2014), un gioiello di puro power metal, ancora una volta si sono sottolineate l’importanza musicale e l’influenza del quintetto.
L’ultimo lavoro in studio “Armor Of Light” è stato pubblicato quest’anno da Nuclear Blast Records.
