Rest in Dust – il video di “Rules of the game”
I Rest in Dust sono una band che fornisce una interpretazione tutta personale del Nu metal: un Nu metal che si fonde con groove metal e con impressioni gothic metal. Pensate a Gojira, Limp Bizkit e Lacuna Coil messi insieme in un frullatore. Di sicuro escono i Rest in Dust. Costoro si caratterizzano per questo alternarsi tra cantato maschile e femminile alquanto accattivante. Inoltre la potenza sonora ben si bilancia con la melodia. Il tutto in una cornice alquanto dark, sanguigna, gagliarda.
“Rules of the game” si caratterizza per questo songwriting semplice e di impatto che mira ad esaltare il rap dei due vocalist. Il chorus è stato affidato alla vocalist Marietta Balcerzak che attira tanta attenzione dalla parte dell’ascoltatore. Come non notare il solo di chitarra heavy metal che ha funzione di bridge e come non notare questo synth marziale in esordio che ben si sposa col riff che lo accompagna.
Il lato tecnico è di alto livello con mix, master e produzione sonora molto buoni. Il singolo più lo ascolti e più ti innamori. E’ come una sorta di loop che non puoi silenziare….
