My Dark Reality è un gruppo rock di 4 membri fondato nel 2019 a Dayton, OHIO(USA). Il loro sound e i loro testi sono stati plasmati dalla bellezza e dalla brutalità della vita. La loro musica può essere così pesante, oscura, eppure c’è sempre luce nell’oscurità. Il loro sound è stato paragonato a Ghost, Avenged Sevenfold, Green Day e Mötley Crüe. Nel loro breve periodo come band hanno fatto più apparizioni nel blog di BuzzMusic. Sono guidati dal chitarrista Oz e dal bassista Death.

“Soulless” è una canzone che parla del presente. I testi provenivano direttamente dal mio diario che viene definito il libro della morte. Questa canzone è l’epitome della mia stessa esistenza a questo punto della vita. Volevo che questa canzone fosse vuota e caotica come lo sono il mio cuore e la mia anima. La vera lotta è tra la vita e la morte, l’oscurità e la luce. Spero che chi ascolta la nostra canzone sappia che non è solo. È stato divertente perché quando abbiamo scritto la musica di “Soulless” a nessuno di noi nella band è piaciuta la musica originale. Poi abbiamo scherzato sul fatto di diventare una polka mariachi band. Oz ha iniziato a suonare gli accordi in stile polka/punk rock ed eravamo tutti proprio come yo, questo è tutto! “Soulless” comincia con un basso prorompente e poi entrano cantato ed altri strumenti. La lead vocalist è tanto carismatica: accompagnata da riff corposi mostra tanta espressività vocale unita a potenza ed estensione vocale.

Come non lasciarsi trasportare dall’energia che questa band riesce a trasmettere? My Dark Reality è un progetto musicale elettrizzante che riesce a sconvolgere l’ascoltatore con la sua musica rock fiammante. “Soulless” è una sorta di manifesto del loro infinito ed ineccepibile talento.

My Dark Reality is a 4-piece rock band founded in 2019 in Dayton, OH. Their sound and lyrics were shaped by the beauty and brutality of life. Within their short time as a band they have made multiple appearances in Buzz Music’s blog. They are led by the dynamic songwriting team of Oz the lead guitarist and bassist Death.

Words about “Soulless”:

“Soulless” is a song dealing with the present. The lyrics came directly from my journal which is referred to as the book of death. This song is the epitome of my very existence at this point in life. I wanted this song to be as empty and chaotic as my heart and soul is. The real struggle is between life and death, dark and light. I hope that whoever hears our song knows that they are not alone. It was funny because when we wrote the music to “Soulless,’ none of us in the band liked the original music. Then we joked about becoming a polka mariachi band. Oz started playing the chords ina polka/punk rock style and we were all just like yo, that’s it! That’s the song!

“Soulless” begins with a bursting bass and then vocals and other instruments enter. The lead vocalist is so charismatic: she accompanied by full-bodied riffs she shows a lot of vocal expressiveness combined with power and vocal range.

How not to be carried away by the energy that this band is able to transmit? My Dark Reality is an electrifying musical project that manages to shock the listener with its flaming rock music. “Soulless” is a sort of manifesto of their infinite and flawless talent.
