MORPHIDE – Black Lungs (Architects cover)
I Morphide sono una band alternative metal/progressive metal con cantante femminile attualmente con sede a Copenhagen, in Danimarca. Partiti come cover project nel 2015, in seguito hanno iniziato a scrivere la propria musica.
Il loro singolo di debutto “Mayhem” è stato pubblicato nel giugno 2019, a seguito del loro secondo singolo “Enter the Storm” e del tour Wild Spirit nel novembre 2019. Tuttavia, anche dopo aver cambiato la direzione della loro band, i Morphide continuano a fare cover su tali rispettabili band come Tesseract, Northlane e Jinjer.
La loro ultima cover per voce / chitarra di “Black Lungs” è anche l’ultimo singolo della band britannica chiamata Architects del loro prossimo album “For those That Wish to Exist”.
La canzone è molto aggressiva ed energica, combina diversi tipi di tecniche vocali, dalla voce pulita, alla distorsione dei medi e persino urla e growls. Tuttavia, non solo questa canzone è interessante dal punto di vista della voce, ma anche con i suoi fantastici riff di chitarra.
Morphide ha realizzato una cover completa per voce / chitarra, girando anche un video musicale energico e potente.

Morphide is a female-fronted alternative metal/progressive metal band currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Starting as a cover project in 2015, they later on started writing their own music. Their debut single “Mayhem” was released in June 2019, following up with their second single “Enter the Storm” and Wild Spirit tour in November 2019. However, even after changing the direction of their band, Morphide still make covers on such reputable bands as Tesseract, Northlane and Jinjer.

Their latest vocal/guitar cover of “Black Lungs” is also the latest single by british band called Architects of their upcoming album “For Those That Wish to Exist”. The song is very aggressive and energetic, combining different types of vocal techniques, from clean vocals, to midrange distortion and even screams and growls. However, not only this song is interesting from the perspective of the vocals, but also with it’s groovy guitar riffs. Morphide made a full vocal/guitar cover, also shooting an energetic and powerful music video for it.
