METAL ALLEGIANCE – Mike Portnoy parla della sua esperienza come batterista sul nuovo album

I METAL ALLEGIANCE sono nati come celebrazione dell’heavy metal, alimentati da un legame tribale condiviso da i più venerati precursori della community del metal estremo, armati con una lista di collaborazioni sul palco (e non) che sembra uscita da un articolo di Wikipedia sul genere musicale stesso. Il loro nuovo, secondo album, “Volume II – Power Drunk Majesty”, uscirà su Nuclear Blast Entertainment il 7 Settembre 2018.

Mike Portnoy commenta, “Da batterista metal, i METAL ALLEGIANCE sono il top della scena. Quello stile di batteria ha una grande importanza per me, essendo cresciuto nella scena thrash. E’ stata una grande parte del mio background ma non ho mai avuto una band che la rappresentasse.”
