Love Ghost – è uscito il video di “Plywood”, una collaborazione con Blvc Svnd

Con un refrain di chitarra tanto ammaliante comincia questo “Plywood”. Un beat tanto duro accompagna l’incedere della canzone. Rap west coast, al modo di Coolio per intenderci. Blvc SVnd sfodera i suoi colpi migliori supportato da Finnegan Bell dei Love Ghost. Love Ghost ultimamente ci mettono tanto hip hop nelle loro canzoni, questa volta uno di loro sposa totalmente l’hip hop con un pezzo che ha sapore di altri tempi. Bello il contrasto tra il rap di Blvc SVnd e il cantato a tratti strozzato di Finnegan Bell. Stupendo il chorus, focalizza tanta attenzione. Come non notare che produzione sonora, mix e master sono eccellenti come spesso succede nelle canzoni dei Love Ghost che oramai conosciamo a memoria.
I sinistri conigli bianchi del video mi hanno fatto pensare a “Hunting Picture”, episodio della quarta stagione della serie televisiva Misfits. Un video che sembra una sorta di fumetto allucinante.

This “Plywood” begins with such a bewitching guitar refrain. Such a hard beat accompanies the progress of the song. Rap west coast, in the way of Coolio to be clear. Blvc SVnd shows off his best shots supported by Finnegan Bell of Love Ghost. Love Ghost lately they put a lot of hip hop into their songs, this time one of them totally marries hip hop with a piece that has a flavor of other times. The contrast between Blvc SVnd’s rap and Finnegan Bell’s sometimes strangled singing is beautiful. The chorus is amazing, it focuses a lot of attention. How not to notice that sound production, mixes and masters are excellent as often happens in the Love Ghost songs that we now know by heart.
The sinister white rabbits in the video made me think of “Hunting Picture”, episode of the fourth season of the television series Misfits. A video that looks like a sort of hallucinating cartoon.
