Love Ghost - esce il video di "Do you like me now?"

Torna alla produzione Mike Summers, meno Messico e più Rage against the machine, d’annata…ma fatta bene.

Il nuovo singolo dei Love Ghost Do you like me now? si propone come risposta agli haters, un colpo duro a forza di onde sonore e scream!

Nel video Finn gioca ad un improbabile gioco alla Playstation il cui scopo è trovare Stormi Maya della band Cinnamon Babe e distruggerla con la mazza da baseball…stessa cosa per lei….che deve trovare Finn e si aggira armata di nunchaku in uno sfasciacarrozze.

Stormi Maya offre un rap godibile e arrabbiato…perfettamente in vena col brano e integrandosi agli scream distorti di Finn…fino al crescendo e alla trovata Rossiniana in cui Finn urla Do you Like me?, ma suona come do you hate me a causa della distorsione, in risposta la rapper urla ‘do you hate me’ e le voci si fondono come se fossero molte di più…escamotage usato proprio nel Barbiere di Siviglia (che invenzione prelibata…)…

Il sound è sempre impeccabile, cede meno alla modernità e all’elettronica…prediligendo strumentazione organica, un po’ anni 90, quelli che ci piacciono.

Love Ghost’s new single Do you like me now? is proposed as a response to the haters, a hard blow by force of sound waves and screams!

In the video Finn plays an unlikely Playstation game whose aim is to find Cinnamon Babe and destroy her with the baseball bat…same thing for her…who has to find Finn and wanders around a junkyard armed with nunchucks.

Stormy Maya(Cinnamon Babe) offers an enjoyable and angry rap… perfectly in tune with the song and integrating with Finn’s distorted screams… until the crescendo and the Rossinian gimmick in which Finn screams Do you Like me?, but it sounds like do you hate me due to the distortion, in response the rapper screams ‘do you hate me’ and the voices merge as if there were many more… ploy used right in the Barber of Seville (what a delicious invention, beautiful beautiful, well done…)…

The sound is always impeccable, it gives in less to modernity and electronics… preferring organic instrumentation, a bit ’90s, to the ones we like.
