Kurrency King – è uscito il video di “Jah only”
Intro psych per cominciare con suoni riverberati ed effetto left right. Poi la canzone inizia ed entra il sound reggae tipico da dance hall. Per chi come me ha partecipato a tante dance hall in Salento(South of Italy) come non ricordare quei momenti, quelle calde notti d’estate, notti di follia in cui non volevi proprio andare a dormire e avevi altro per la testa….
“Jah only” ossia tradotto “Dio solo/solamente”. Infatti nella canzone il testo parla chiaramente: se cerchi Dio non sarai mai solo.
Kurrency King si pone come presenza carismatica in questa song anche corale con sovra-incisioni vocali, una song piena di vibes positive con una ritmica di un certo livello. Mix e master sono davvero ottimi. Grande lavoro pure di Antonio Gullo per l’edit del video, un video tanto psichedelico e viaggiante.
Di certo piglia tanto il chorus come pure le sonorità classiche del reggae. Come non pensare a tanta cultura reggae o rasta, a Bob Marley e tanti altri….
Su Youtube sono diversi i pezzi di Kurrency King: puoi sollazzarti per più di mezz’ora con le sue canzoni…bisogna solo perdere la testa con la musica di Kurrency King, musica che tanti amanti del reggae potranno apprezzare in Italia e non solo….Sicuramente sarà amato in Italia Kurrency King…

“Jah only” or translated “God alone”. In fact, in the song the lyrics speak clearly: if you seek God you will never be alone.
Kurrency King presents himself as a charismatic presence in this choral song with vocal overdubs, a song full of positive vibes with a rhythm of a certain level. Mix and master are really excellent. Great work also by Antonio Gullo for the editing of the video, such a psychedelic and traveling video.
It certainly captures the chorus as well as the classic sounds of reggae. How can we not think of so much reggae or Rastafarian culture, of Bob Marley and many others….
There are several pieces by Kurrency King on Youtube: you can amuse yourself for more than half an hour with his songs… you just have to lose your head with Kurrency King’s music, music that many reggae lovers will be able to appreciate in Italy and beyond …Kurrency King will certainly be loved in Italy…
